What is a Career Coach?

As a Career Coach, I partner with Individual Contributors to aid in the process of optimizing their functionality in their roles. I also partner with Individuals Contributors who are transitioning to Emerging Leaders and Managers. Both will be provided the necessary tools to contribute more effectively and efficiently to today’s ever-changing workplace environment.

 

I partner with individuals transitioning to management roles in an Emerging Leader and Manager capacity offering them tailored and specialized coaching to support the process of transitioning to managing others, developing their confidence as managers, building their brand and messaging helping them navigate their career in a new space as well as cultivating existing and creating new networks.

 

I partner with individuals who are seeking to break through obstacles potentially preventing them from progressing from where they are to where they want to go. I offer support and strategic tools that will help them grow, find clarity, transform, and transition to the next level of their career reaching their goals while building their skills and confidence.

 

I offer unbiased, impartial feedback tailored so that you are able to achieve your goals. I provide a fresh perspective and ensure that my clients have access to various tools and techniques designed to assist them in better understanding where they are and how to get to where they want to be. As a Career Coach, I will partner with my clients providing guidance and aiding in their growth and developmental process, so they are able to maximize their full personal and professional potential.

 

I also support, them if they are pivoting, transitioning, and/or reintegrating, in finding a new – the right – career for them by utilizing the right set of tools such as personality assessments, skill assessments, skill-gap analysis, and more. As a Career Coach, I attentively listen with an open mind to what is being said so I am positioned to guide them in discovering what they want in life and in their career. According to the Institute of Coaching over 70% of individuals who receive coaching benefit from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills.

 

My role as a Career Coach is to help my clients to better understand what they want to do, provide them with the knowledge and tools, and support them to get where they want to be professionally which also translates to where they want to be in life. 

Through my one-on-one 100% customized Career Coaching, I partner with Individuals’ Contributors and Emerging Leaders to aid in their process of optimizing their functionality in their roles and on their journey of becoming highly functioning members of their organizations and the best version of themselves. I offer support, multi-dimensional tools and best practices that assist in navigating the next steps while building toolkits focused on growth areas such as organizational vision and mission, management, communication, emotional intelligence, career development, time management, performance management, change management, problem-solving, virtual communication skills, collaboration, facilitation, coaching, networking, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. 

This Experience is designed to assist professionals who work in corporate work environments and is delivered in a one-on-one format. The Experience:

What is a Team Coaching?

Organizations utilize team coaching as a mechanism to aid in the process of their team’s growth towards accomplishing team and organizational goals and objectives, whether focused on a specific project, an innovative business unit, or meeting sales efforts. The make-up of a team coaching dynamic is typically an outside coach and a group of individuals in an organization. Organizations hire coaches to work with their teams to support the acceleration of their team’s overall performance.

 

Team coaching not only supports the teams’ efforts to reach goals but aids in the process of fostering a sustainable environment that cultivates long-term excellence and success. Teams are able to align on a shared purpose, develop an inspirational team culture, vision, and mission, define clear roles and responsibilities, make personal and team commitments to accountability, make relevant and influential decisions, and take positive action.

This Experience is 100% customized and designed to inspire personal and professional growth by facilitating small groups of career professionals partnering and taking accountability for growing the team and themselves. It is delivered in a cohort-based workshop format. By creating an alignment amongst coaching dialogues with the unique and diverse talents and insights of peer groups, team member gains a greater understanding and perspectives that can be immediately put into practice.

Through my cohort-based 100% customized Team Coaching, I partner with teams to both (a) aid in the process of optimizing the team’s functionality as a whole and (b) facilitate the team’s process of learning as a whole on their journey of becoming highly functioning teams. I support the team in gaining greater insight into factors such as the uniqueness of each team member; the team’s member commitment; reconciling differences and/or competing agendas; defining and coming together on shared purposes; enhancing self-awareness of personal traits and behaviors and the alignment and influence on the team as a whole; and partnering to create guiding viewpoints to accomplish the vision and strategy of the organization.

These learning development sessions and workshops focus on your process of identifying your goals and learning new skills to help you grow and succeed at work. They provide the tools to develop a vision of success, knowledge of the skills required to succeed and create an individual or team development plan. 

 

I incorporate personal assessments, professional development, and skills instruction. You will depart with tools, knowledge, and best practices that you will be able to immediately execute. They also consist of a series of interactive learning events and engagements that are:

  • CLEAR PATH ESTABLISHED: Once we have a clear path, I deliver my custom experiences using various live, interactive platforms and instructions in a virtual environment.

  • PRE-COACHING HANDOUT STARTED: We will begin with a pre-coaching handout which will provide me with some insight into your professional journey, aspirations, and ambitions as well as your coaching, personal and career goals, and aspirations.

  • SUPPORT & UNDIVIDED ATTENTION: Provided necessary support and undivided attention to ensure our engagements and interactions are co-creative and proactive as we take steps to achieve your goals and objectives towards success.

  • INTERACTIVE AND PERSONALIZED COACHING SESSIONS: We will have interactive and personalized coaching video sessions at a scheduled and agreed-upon date and time. Discussions with relevant, actionable, and specific assignments, exercises, and/or innovative learning practices optimize your coaching experience.

  • UNLIMITED EMAIL SUPPORT: You will have unlimited email support between video calls.

  • CHECK-IN PHONE CALLS: You can request check-in phone calls between video calls at a scheduled and agreed-upon date and time, as needed. 

  • RESOURCE LIBRARY ACCESS GRANTED: You will be granted access to my library which contains coaching, leadership development, professional development, etc. resources.

  • CUSTOMIZED STRATEGIC ROADMAP CREATED: Customized Strategic Roadmap is comprised of:

  • WRAP-UP SESSIONS COMPLETED: We will conduct a ‘Wrap-up’ Session which will include an in-depth review of your 1:1 Executive, Leadership, or Career Coaching sessions and a roadmap of recommended plan-of-action for your next 6 to 12 months and beyond as well as any desired follow-up sessions.
